Every two years, on the second weekend in July, there is an exceptional state in the Schlitzerland. The small Eastern Hessian region is immersed in colorful hustle and bustle with international flair for four days. Folklore and Modern sounds, costumes and jeans - nowhere do opposites meet so harmoniously.
Music, dance, party, international folklore, pageantry, fireworks and finally a gigantic polonaise through the old town - celebrate with us the costume festival in Schlitz.
